what are the earliest signs of pregnancy?

Usually a missed period though tender breasts can also be an early sign. I knew I was pregnant with my second child though when I walked past a chinese takeaway and felt sick, I couldn't stand the smell of Chinese food during my first pregnancy and this was repeated during my second pregnancy. (Love Chinese food when I'm not pregnant though!).

I would say tender breasts (with veins showing more than usual) and tiredness, even before the missed period, but everyones different.

i knew i was before i had any real signs of it and it confirmed it when I couldnt stand the smell of bacon cooking!!!

Although I've already answered I've thought about this, and to be totally honest. I think I could pinpoint the conception of our now 15 year old daughter, cos I felt different, and "special" more or less from the time of sex ending and for a few days after (and it was 3 years into our relationship and not a "special" occasion, until then of course!)

I always used to get a funny tingle in my breast even before my period was late, I would say breast changes are the most noticeable thing, and then the next thing is you suddenly can't stand something you usually like i.e. coffee

My wife started to be sick very early on and this led her to take a pregnancy test.

Curiosity, my mom said that when she was pregnant with me she also felt "different" immediately and said to my dad, "OMG I'm pregnant" and this was like, 5 minutes after they had been intimate!

It sounds funny but my hearing went super sensitive when i was in early stage of pregnancy.. ( when in the back of my dads car i had to get him to turn the rear speakers off as it hurt my ears to listen to the radio! )
