yukka plants damaged by the snow
Our huge yukkas have been badly damaged by the snow. We've cut off the rotten bit at the top but now the other leaves are going brown. Can I save them? They're about 15 feet high and I'd hate to lose them.

Yukkas can be more resilent than you think.
You have done the right thing to cut away any rot.
Remove any leaves that are dead or dying,and continue to do so.
The Yukka may start regrowth this year,OR may take as long as next Spring (2011).If it doesn't regrow by next year I think you will have to say goodbye to it,but it may surprise you yet!
