men's advice needed

met this chap a couple of weeks ago.. he persued me (which was quite adorable).. however Wednesday he had a funeral of a favourite uncle.. and since has been distant. sent me a text tonight to day his 'head all over the place' and that he'd call me tomorrow... do I reply to his text or leave it for him to contact me again... don't want to overwhelm the chap!!

Maybe he feels to be having fun with you would be inappropriate while he is grieving?
Maybe just give him some time and see how things play out, maybe just a quick acknowledgement txt saying something like "no worries, thinking of you" or similar and see if he does call you so he isn't worrying you are ruffled around the boa with him etc...

Just say 'around if needed'.... The man hostage had a death in the family before I met him, bit of time needed and all that. If he's still interested a couple of weeks later all well and good and if not then not great for you. Tis a judgement call I think... We can only advise but you have the facts. Good luck!
