removing tooth belt tensioner on v.w. touran

How do you remove the tooth belt tensioner on a 1.9 Touran as I want to replace it.The engine is a BRU. I have removed the nut but there is not enough space to remove the tensioner. Any suggestions Thanks

Not enough space .. where?
You may have to remove other components, radiators, etc to change gears or idlers on many belt OHC's.
