What happened in the last episode of this last week. Not the whole lot just the story between the young doc and the docs widow.  Thanks to anyone who answers.

Widow blowing hot and cold, but really wanted doc to stay.

Doc blowing hot and cold but really wanted to stay.

Because widow told him to, he signed the contract and set of for work at the other hospital never to return.

Widow realised the error of her ways, and set off in pursuit, on another motorbike. She saw him up ahead and cut off across country.

Doc came round corner and screeched to a halt. They fell into each other's arms, and he ripped up contract.

Peri did you know that it's finished forever? Shame, I know it was a bit twee but sometimes that's all my brain can handle!!

Thank for that Ethel exactly what I wanted to know.   I didn't know that Robinia - pity, I know what you mean but sometimes it is nice to watch something simple.  I didn't think the characters had run their course.

I, of course, never watched it!


Joking aside, I shall miss it if they don't make a new series.
Gritty realism is all well and good, but these cosy dramas have their place too.

I agree the characters were well defined and I especially liked the landlady.

Hope it does return.
