Morning all :)

Presuming 90% have some knowledge about all flights in the UK suspended due to volcanic ash. It was yesterday planned to resume fights starting 7am this morning however just heard on the news, the delay has now been extended until at least 7pm this evening. Just thought I'd mention it and also see if anybody has;

- Been effected by the delays or know anybody that has (tell us details like airport ect)
- Had plans to fly either yesterday or today? and if so, where to ect ect ??

And last thing, if you are effected and have a flight booked, then contact the airline and you may be fully refunded as some people have been refunded so is advised to contact airline and speak with them, and if you are trying for refund then Good luck!! (your likely to need it :( )

crikey, like i said before, if planes are flying monday afternoon, my aunt and uncle have garanteed seats, so monarch don't disrupt even more people, but what are chances of planes being allowed to fly to cyprus, as som flights might be allowed, but will they, or would they have to go a different way, or not at all?
1am monday morning now. My cousin has stayed with relatives in Manchester and is driving back to York today, but it looks like my auntie will be staying here for a few more days. We have considered driving her over to turkey where they can get a ferry, it might be quicker, if it lasts as long as last time.
You can only drive her if you can get a ferry molly, and as we'd said on the other thread, ferries are booked up well into next week. They can't put on more ferries, they too have slots and turn-round times.
Class of 13y x 26 stuck in Florida....they were due back Wednesday; school opens Monday. Insurance company has secured costs for them in motel in Kissimee.
No flights until 7am tomorrow and monarch aren't flying until friday, and thats if things improve and other airlines are flying.
well my neighbours managed to get a flight into Glasgow in the end and then it took a further 36 hours to get back to suffolk.
The teacher friend stuck in spain has booked a ticket on a flight next monday, though shes had 4 flights cancelled already
