Can anyone recommend a bank with a user friendly online banking system.
I currently use Barclays and I think it is really easy to use for transferring money, paying bills, etc. But I've not been impressed with some of its other so called customer service so I'm thinking of voting with my feet (or my keyboard) and going elsewhere.

Have had accounts with Co-op, Natwest and Barclays over the years and Nationwide are the best. They are a building society which seems to make them more friendly and 'seem' smaller/more local (but they're not?!). Don't know what the real differences are between banks/building soc but it works for me.
Oh, and they have a good online service too. (although to be honest most banking services do these days)
I didn't have a problem with HSBC's internet banking it's the rest of the system and that yuo simply cannot talk to anybody with any authority.
I found a ghost �30 odd item on my bill from tesco when I'd not been there immediately preceding a valid debit for exactly the same amount.
Told it would be sorted out in 2 weeks - 2 weeks later a form arrives. Completed sent back. 2 weeks later - another form arrives - sorry wrong form oh and we have to cancel the card - I call them up - nobody knows anything about it - we'll see if we can put you through to the fraud department - they come back - please call customer services on this number (the number I dialed to talk to them in the first place)
So I'm now without a credit card and am not allowed to talk to the people dealing with my issue.
I have a little "local knowlege" for them - Stop hiding behind yuor call centres!
I moved away from HSBC because, although their online banking was fine, they annoyed me no end with a string of errors, like never updating my home address for over 2 years, which caused a load of problems. You'd think they had changed it and then, all of a sudden, Pop, my parent's were getting my mail again. Plus their interest rate is insulting.
I moved to Smile, who have been excellent and I've never had a single problem, although they do need to introduce some method for downloading bank statements into accounting programs. I also considered Cahoot, but preferred Smile's ethical stance and my wife likes pink.
