I know I keep asking questions relating to my Egypt trip, I'm sorry but.....

What is the best way to take spending money to Egypt?

Is there still a charge on entry to the country?and what is it?

Is there still a maximum amount of Egyptian Pounds I can take in?

Believe it is 100 per person that you can take in (it was in Feb anyway), your travel agent should know. If you are going to the main places, just use an ATM to get more cash when you are there. We didn't have to pay to enter the country, but we had pre-bought our visas, are you thinking of the visa charge?
You will need plenty of small change for tips. Small value Egyptian pounds are fine if you can get them, I took $1 bills with for tipping when we arrived.

we went in may, and the 100 per person was still in effect.

Visa was 10 [gb] but is only necessary if leaving the local district. if planning any trips i suggest you get one. quick enough, and painless.

1 coins were excellent for tipping......

But with Dollars and Euros you get more to the Pound.....
