WOO HOO...........GOT A JOB

I was mande redundant on 31/3/10 I was bothered about my age I am 54.... today I have got a temp job with the local council. I am a VERY confident person but being MADE redundant knocks you for six. So for anyone else who is looking have faith something will turn up. I did have an interview on Wednesday it was 19 miles away I was happy to travel if I got the job but this is only 3 miles from my home. G&T in order!!!

well done Brucie, I was born the same year, when I was facing redundancy last year I was worried, but I got a job almost straight away, yes and we have to work until we're 65 grrrrr, hope it works out for you, I'm sure they'll realise you are reliable, won't ring in sick with a hangover and won't expect everyone to wipe your nose for you!!!
