Again why no avatar

I have done everything & triple checked it all.
registered and got an avatar with gravatar.
gone to my profile & ticked the avatar box.
and still diddly squat!! NO AVATAR
Wots occuring here?

i had to copy and paste the avatar's URL into gravatar, and then go to My profile, Edit user details ,click on avatar inactive box and hey presto, all OK.

Try pressing CTRL F5 when in your user profile, otherwise try again when in a 'question' page.

are you sure you registered at gravatar with exactly the same email address as you have in your user details on this site?

Chuck yes I have tried re-entering all my user profile to make sure it is all exactly
the same (and it is) but when I click on submit a message displays saying
"cannot update"

try some number is your gravatar password....when you return to AB press Ctrl & F5 together if there's no avatar show

I think that it's worth emailing the ed about your issue spayer (though if you have a different browser installed it would be worth trying in that instead)

netti, if it was a picture of a real person then yes, that is/was my real picture (I'm a baby panda now though)

you have to hit ctrl + f5 on the profile page to update the picture (or just wait, it will change eventually)
