Ed do we really have to register at Gravatar to get an AB avatar?? (How much did they pay you:) If I get a GRavatar, it will show up on other sites as well (or won't it?)

I downloaded my image from another site swedeheart and it was stored in my Pictures File. You need to go into Gravatar.com and Log-in with same User Name and Password as here on AB, then follow the prompts.

Thanks so much redman but what I'm afraid of is that once Gravatar gets a hold of my email address, they will display my AB avatar on every other forum that I'm on under other aliases but for which I have used the same email address. Please clarify, Spare!

it is possible that another site you are registered on with the same email address could show your avatar, the other sites would probably have an option to disable showing the avatar, but they may default to on so you'd have to check all sites.

Or just use a different email address for AB, I changed mine for exactly the reason you've said.
