Maybe I should have explained two of those.
A.M. = Ack Emma, P.M. = Pip Emma in ols signallers code.

L= 50, U = Acceptable ( U and Non-U)

Before the days of A= Alpha, B= Bravo, C= Charlie, D= Delta, etc.,
Wartime signallers used A= Ack as in Anti-Aircraft (AA) = Ack Ack
E= Emma, P = Pip, T = Toc, H = Aitch so we had
AM = Ack Emma
PM = Pip Emma
T-H = Toc-Aitch
