how to eat a pomegranate

I just tried eating a pomegranate, my method was to work my fingers around the fruit, pushing inwards. this released the juice and i cut it open and got a nice drink.

with regard to the flesh, i found this more dificult and used a spon, i don't think i like pomegranates as there are too many seeds.

how do you eat yours?

I juice mine just like you would an orange. Make sure you wear an apron though.

When i was a kid we used to usepins to get the seeds out ,it used to keep us busy for ages aahh happy days

Roll it round under the palm of your hand....cut it in half, hold over a plate and smack it with a wooden spoon. The pips come out then.

I scoop out the seed with a spoon into a strainer or sieve and mash with the spoon; all the juice comes out this way.
