What could be confusing?
Which of the signs of the Zodiac, using the full names common in the UK, would come first alphabetically?
OK, What does ""the full names" mean? That's what confuses me.
OK what does "commonly used" mean
My take (and this one threw me for a bit) is that Taurus is also known as 'the Bull' but its full name is 'Taurus the Bull' and therefore they want T for Taurus (down the alphabet) as opposed to B for Bull (front of the alphabet).

Vic and Dave must have to put up with some riduclous queries on the help line and so try to be as precise as possible in the questions, which leads to us thinking there's more behind the question then there really is.

Now in a fortnight's time we'll find out that Taurus is in fact the Aardvark and comes first... Dammit!

The common names have always been Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, and that's what most people refer to them as - I don't hear people saying their star sign is the Scorpion or the Fish.

So maybe it is just as easy as it sounds!

no what I meant was are they looking for Aquarius which obviously is alphabetically first or Aries which is listed first
Hi kissingdog, the question does say alphabetically, so I've gone with Aquarius.
