Just to get back to the original question-just a mere observation of clicke 'you are not in the gang so don't expect me to respond to you' thing going on.
I know there have been instances of 'trolling' but sometimes new people are viewed with such suspicion they are cast aside or even spoken down to.
This does seem more of a case of once bitten syndrome,but some people who can only pop in now and again find it hard to be accepted as real.
It is after all only natural to want to talk to and trust your friends.

I couldn't sleep so thought I'd take a quick look in AB and gotta say, was surprised to see Dris' comment that Mr. V threatened to "take her out". I remember the shoplifting thread well ..... I posted on it. Can't find reference to Dris being threatened by Mr. V though, having just re-read it all.

Dris, if you're still around - can you point that bit out? Thanks. I have read it all again - lots of posts removed which makes it difficult to understand, (mostly yours and NoKnowledge's removed as far as I can see) - but Mr. V's input still remains.

Or did Mr. V threaten you on another thread?

Im not entering into a dispute with you -I know what I read so can only assume his comment was removed as well.
Im not in the game of fabricating things never have and am not gonna start now.

He thought your comments on it were so aggressive that it could not be you posting them.

Mr.V may have been cranky/threatening, or whatever you want to call it, on another thread. I wouldn't know - I haven't seen it. But he certainly never did what you are accusing him of on the shoplifting thread.

Come on - offering to take you out? It's almost laughable!

Dris - think it's time you and I got a few things straight.

Nobody "tips me the wink" about anything on CB. I don't take it seriously enough to want to be alerted to what's going on. (Perish the thought - got far more going on in my real life, thank goodness). The only ABer I kept in touch with outside of AB was Ethel (God rest her soul) and even then, we kept our friendship private, never mentioning it on AB.

Anyhoo - back to said thread. Your aggression was noticed not only by me, but by several others (and obviously by the Ed or he wouldn't have deleted many of your posts).

I don't have a crystal ball but I do have a good memory, used to be a proof reader before I worked for BT. I can remember the thread as it was happening, before any of it was deleted. For you to say that Mr.V threatened you is ridiculous. Where you got that idea from, I just don't know. He did no such thing and if Mr.V was around I am sure he'd clarify that. And nobody said you condoned shoplifting, yet you seemed to become obsessed with the idea that some of them did.

Prior to that, I had replied to Dot early in the thread - so I really don't know where you are coming from with your remark about me coming in late. (Not that it means anything anyway).

Oh, and just as a matter of interest, who do you think is my puppeteer? (That has tickled me).
