how did you enjoy the lovely weather today?

i went on a 4 mile walk in beautiful countryside, worked up an appetite then sat in the local park with a picnic reading magazines and catching some rays. then came home, cooked a thai prawny cous cous thing and enjoying a bottle of sauvignon trying to work out if my warm face is alcohol or sun related. simple pleasures, its been really lovely.

We went to very good friends, had a lovely barbecue and a few glasses of rose', the taxi driver played Bob Marley on the way home, bonus!! great night!!.........................

I walked about 6 miles with my friend. it nearly killed me.

It's been gorgeous!

A group of 12 of us headed up to Formby Point and went for a walk down the beach then up through the sand dunes and back on the beach then headed for a pub lunch before a mad car convoy down to Crosby to find those man statues on the beach.

Got there as the tide was coming in and it was stunning, had some funny pictures taken with the statues then headed home to freshen up and change before an al fresco drink in town.

Such a brilliant day, gorgeous scenery, beautiful weather, great company and so so many laughs :)

Actually in Dorset it has been very hazy all day and nowhere nears as nice as the last few days. Boo-hoo

I've had a good day too, my OH had to do to Otley today so I went with him, we walked around the market, then down to the river, There were loads of new swans and mallards on the river, and lots of tourists walking around, the fish and chip shop was doing a roaring trade. The weather was lovely, I only wish I hadn't tried my new sandals out today with all the walking we did.

yes it's beautiful but the weather disappointing after being at work in the sun all week. It's quite clouded over at the moment so not expecting too much tmrw.
