As pedant summa cum laude... here in the U.S. the Amedments to our Constitution (there are 27, the first 10 are the Bill of Rights) are named 1st Amendment, 2nd Amendment, etc.... therefore the one banning slavery and involuntary servitude (except for punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted) is the 13th Amendment...
