Further to my previous question (see below), what's the best way to download music, ie. do you subscribe to a particular site?  Any recommendations?

 

As you can probably guess, I am totally new to all this and want to have things clear in my head before I go ahead and spend my hard earned cash.

If you have an iPod, it'll be easiest (and maybe the best way), to stick with the iTunes Music Store, that's available through iTunes itself (the program you'll use to keep track of all your music on your computer, and sync with your iPod).

Like a lot of the companies that sell music online, it has DRM protection. This is basically a load of crap they put in to limit your ability of playing the music. You can get round it by using a program such as JHymn:
