Sadly there is very little you can do at home that will help. You could try running up the stairs, or round the garden, the point is you need to burn calories, and for that you need aerobic exercises, running, cycling, swimming etc, combined with a sensible diet that reduces the amount of saturated fats and sugars that you injest. Reduce the booze, cheese, full fat milk, chocolate, processed foods etc etc, and switch to more fruit and veg,whole grain cereals, and roughage. All of this will help, and more importantly, you will feel better and live longer too! Try getting off the bus a stop earlier and walking, or simply walking the whole way instead of driving, take up swimming, buy a bike etc etc, the permutations are well known and multiple. But sadly, there is no wonder exercise that you can do at home that will help you "slim down", if there was, then everyone would be doing it, and no-one would be over weight!
