She's from that sort of background, the gentry who dress down to appear as though they are in touch with the common man and with the land they lease out to the peasants, I preferred watching Diana wearing some amazing creation that cost several thousand quid, at least she didn't pretend to be 'just like us' and that was why she did seem 'just like us' in many ways.
The other thing about that type of aristocracy - they have no qualms about farting whenever they like! (I have a friend who has worked on a lot of Estates over the years)
Looks a touch of the oedipus to me..... perhaps he suffered so many separation issues when he was a lad due to his peculiar upbringing he's married the person most like his mother...... only last I heard the queen wasn't likely to have a quick fag on the balcony or swear like a 2nd rate comic....
