Lamb Chop TV series from the 70s ?
14 Answers
I'm sure I remember watching a TV kids' programme in the 70s about a puppet called lamb chop. On Wikipedia, it just tells you about the US prog, but I was sure there was a UK one, didn't he have a friend called mint sauce? I'm not making this up, my mate thinks she remembers something similar. Please can anyone reassure us that we're not going mad?!!! Thanks!

The BBC made a series with Sheri Lewis and Lamb Chop (and Charlie Horse and Hush Puppy) in the 1970s. I have seen a couple of episodes of it recently (it isn't available on DVD). I think it was just called The Shari Lewis Show, but am not too sure. It was definitely made by the BBC and they still have a few of the shows in the BBC archive. Wikipedia isn't a definitive source of information.
Just looking on IMDB and did you realise that THAT Shari Lewis co-wrote an episode of Star Trek ? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0708468/
