Does anyone recall whether the TV version of this spy novel series, starring Ian Holm, has ever been repeated on British TV. Also, does anyone have any details of where I can obtain a copy of the video?

Granada spent 5 million on a 13-part serial of Len Deighton's trilogy of thrillers not only about spies and moles but also about relationships between spies in the glasnost era. The epic was shown in 1988, but the show has not appeared on UK TV since. Central TV for whom the show was made may be able to give you video details.

I saw that you are looking for Game, Set & Match - I am thrilled to say I just purchased it on 7 dvd's from someone in southern Australia.  It took them 5 years to get it all, including some scenes in the original airing, and they say the quality is excellent. If you would like a copy I can see about copying them. You can send me an email to: [email protected]
