Hi, I have been quoted £250 by a garage to put a new clutch in my Ford Ka. Does anyone know if this is a reasonable price?

have they broken it down into labour and parts costs for you?

No they just gave me the total price. Which I hope includes VAT

If that includes vat, then the price isn't to far out.

As expensive as it sounds its about right. When i had a Fiesta it cost £300.00 to get the clutch replaced.

Cost me £1100 in a Vectra GSi and it was nearly all labour as it was tricky they told me!
