car tax increase
12 Answers
I read the thread from Bob about the increase and this happened to me yesterday morning at our towm post office, i gave the clerk the right money and she said it had gone up, i argued (of course, this was me you understand) and told her it quite clearly gave the price on the renewal notice, but she smartly pointed out the clause on the notice that was a disclaimer saying they could alter the amount at any time, she went on to lecture me about the budget increase blah blah, then. she said it hadn't been increased at this last budget, but at the one before. I then asked her why, if the DVLA had been aware or so long that the cost was going up, had they continued to print the wrong cost on the renewal forms, she said she had no idea. Does anyone know why the Government had increased the road tax but the DVLA had continued to post renewal notices out with the old price on? It was hardly a snap decision to put it up apparently?

I have explained this to the DVLA and told them at the same time that their websire is rubbish.
Where on this list does it say £112?
