Grammatically, shouldn't it be.. The Lives of Mammals?

What, so like a mouse has a similar life to an elephant? etc. From what I've seen of the programME each species has its own idiosynchrasies and uniqueness But, seeing as they do all give live birth, suckle their young and have fur. Well, apart from Platypussies probably some others too? I still suggest it should be The Lives of Mammals. If it was just tigers, say the The Life of Tigers would suit, but even that's debatable. I mean Would you say 'The Life of People'? if it were people and not mammals? - I don't think so.
