One thing that really scared me as a child was the metal doors in our back yard that the Dray Men used to deliver the beer....I always thought they would collapse.

the sea/ocean, any lake i see or canal, it terrifies me. i have terrible nightmares about the ocean

Definitely deep water too as I can't swim. Erm, I get a bit freaked (if I'm awake) to hear the sound of a milk float - god knows why. I'm too scared to learn to drive! - don't think I ever will. Scared of snakes too!
