Following MITH1992 earlier post, I decided to download a game from a P2P site. The game I now have is Grand Prix 4 and I have successfully managed to install the game using Daemon Tools, but the problem I now have is that when I open the game and select play, I am asked to enter the CD.The only file I have on the disc is the 600MB .bin file which I downloaded.I am not really a gamer so I do not know what I am doing wrong.Any help would be most appreciated.

This is not going to help you, but Grand Prix 4

Sorry, glitch. GP4 is excellent. Even if you have to pay for it, do so. Very realistic circuits. I 'practise' each one before watching on TV. Monaco and Spa in particular they have got dead right. Good luck.

if you have mounted the image file correctly using daemon then basically your pc has been fooled in to thinking that you have another cd drive and that the cd is within this new drive.we use daemon all the time with no problems.

when you go to play the game,i assume you are clicking on the desktop icon ? if so,make sure that daemon is still linked to the gp4 bin/cue.if it isnt then this explains why it is asking for the cd.

hope this helps.
