I have gone through all the stages on the advert and it brings back memories even of my happy childhood and teenage years when my lovely Mum and Dad were around, Then my own Marriage and children and now a Granma and elderly. just an emotional thing with me. And I am not usually like that.
I'm a 24 year old woman, and when i first saw this ad, i came over all emotional and a tear appeared in my eye! It made me realise i have all those amazing and exciting experiences to look forward to in my life to come! The song is beautiful too, and goes brilliantly with the story. In turn perfectly captivating the ads target audience, - women young and old!
Its good to know i'm not the only woman out there to feel so stupidly emotionally involved in a tv ad!

The version on the ad is the singer from the Guillemots , not Billy Joel. But it has led to the Billy Joel version returning to the charts today.
I think teh Dany Warhols song from teh Next ad will also return to the charts next week.
Ads can be powerful; others can be a flop This one has had a big impact. That's why the team that makes it will be able to command a high fee
