Ahem,well growing up is one of them....plus all my school mates!!!
Once I left my secondary school.... that was it....we all went our separate ways.
That was the saddest day of my life :( :(
I do tend to see the occasional school friend once in a blue moon.
I miss christmas eve's in Rathbone Street market with the smell of the oil lamps at night and the tangerines in their boxes most of them wrapped in orange paper, and the stallholders knocking down the price of turkeys at the tops of their voices, and the smell of chestnuts roasting on the roaring braziers. Ohhhh heavenly days. (Long time ago)
I miss living in a cosy cottage in the country, playing in the fields, lovely open fires, lovely smell of home baking, friends always calling in, very small house!.......full of fun and laughter!............
