Spanish Floods? All Scotlands...

I have "inherited" a tame mongoose. At least that's what i think it is. I've got plenty of garden and am willing to buy a hutch, but having been left with no instructions, am thinking of passing it on to my sister (who now runs the family farm...)
any ideas>>?

Ferrets are indeed kept in a hutch and have to be cleaned out regularly, and are fed on meat, cat food and eggs (raw or cooked). Lots of people keep ferrets and can advise.
If it is a mongoose, well, they're very fond of cobra :-)
the best known species is definitely the Indian mongoose. They are rather small, agile, weasel-like carnivores native to Africa, southern Europe, and Asia.
The mongoose lives near streams, in thickets, hedges, and fields feeding on rats, mice, snakes, lizards, eggs, and insects.
They eat a diet similar to that of hedgehogs and ferrets, do well in a run, I bet it is a ferret though.
