question about the pill
3 Answers
if you start the conraceptive pill on the first day of your period (which we assume lasts roughly a week) and then continue to take the 2nd and 3rd week packets. then the 4th week of inactive tablets (where a withdrawal bleed will occur) does this mean that there will only be 2 weeks between each "period" the first time around. i hope this makes sense lol. any answers? and also. the first time taking the pill (start of a period) , will this affect what would usually be a normal period in any way?

Taking the pill affects your 'normal' period whenever you take it, as if you think about it, you're instructing your body how to act, you're not doing it naturally. As long as you don't take the pill for years at a time without a break, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.
