I couldn't answer you the other day as the computer crashed for some reason. I was diagnosed by my physio. I have been suffering for sometime with a trapped nerve in my neck since August last year -but the pain changed. She said it was with holding myself in a funny position because of the pain it may have turned to tendonitis, today is not too bad, but I can't light my arm straight out above my should and have trouble sometimes lifting a cup of tea. It's worse in the morning and when I 've been making the beds and having to lift, and it's my right arm. I have stopped my aerobics and swimming to see if it will calm down. Any ideas!

I think that an accurate diagnosis needs to be made as one has to distinguish a supraspinatus tendonitis from a cervical spondylosis and this can only be done by an Orthopaedic surgeon with the help of MRI scanning.
Ask for an Orthopaedic referral and Google my 2 diagnosis.

Thanks Squad. I know this is what I should be doing - but I do know whether I can stand going to hospital again - I have had breast cancer 4 years ago , and am still hospitaling and have really had enough.! I know I shall have to be sensible and ask the Doc to refer me if it doesn't get any better. At the moment I can hardly feel it. Thanks once again. Will let you know.
