There was a series in the early 1970's i used to watch, the name i cannot recall but it is the music to it i remember the most. The music was to the sea rolling in onto a lonely beach and i thought it magical.
I believe it was a piano recital of somekind but it was emotive and soothing which i found unusual for a doctors prog?

OK, so that's the tune, but what was the Doctors series?
It was Owen MD the TV prog, we did watch it as i recall, but it had disapeared from my memory, i was watching High Chapparal and Lancer and Garrisons Gorillas at that time lol
If it's the sleepy shores one then it's Owen MD

That's it....Owen MD! Genius dothawkes.
Ta.

Is that Doctor Owen perhaps, of Labour then SDP?
Nigel Stock played him, he was in the Great Escape, he died in 1986 and is buried in Golders Green cemetary
I think Sleepy Shores was the theme to Owen MD with Nigel Stock.
