my patt says cast on I'm doing last bracket cast on 93 {97:105:109:113:121:125:129:(137)}
1 row (RS)k1,*p1,k1* to end
2 row p1,*k1,p1* to end
do row 1 and 2- 6{6:6:7:7:7:7:7:(7) times more
this is the confusing bit
next row(inc row): rib : 7{9:13:15:17:21:23:25:(29)} that ok, inc in next st (rib 1, inc in next st) 39 times, rib : 7{9:13:15:17:21:23:25:(29)} --133{137:145:149:153:161:165:169:(177)sts.
whats puzzling is if i have 137 sts on the needle and i worked 29 in rib and increase 39 +1 in rib and then 29 in rib again then that only =137 so how will i get 177 sts or try to explain it in simple terms thank you

no you increase in next stitch = 1 rib 1 and increase every other stitch 39 times so 39 +1 = 40 +137 = 177
