A man banned from wearing skirts at certain times breached his Asbo by deliberately bending over in front of his neighbours, a court has heard.

Peter Trigger is banned from wearing a skirt or showing bare legs on a school day between 8.30am and 10am and 2.45pm and 4pm.

The 60-year-old, from Farndon Close, Northampton, was given an anti-social behaviour order in December 2008 which also forbids him from behaving in a manner which causes or is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to others.

NN3....nuff said.
just a slong as he doesn't wear a burqa. That should definitely be banned as it would prove he is a domestic slave in thrall to an evil religion.

Actually, it seems this was within the hours when he may legally wear a dress. The problem was the bending over.

Sometimes I don't entirely understand British law. I'd blame it on the European superstate taking away our sovereignty, but I think Asbos were all our own idea.
awww leave him alone, if they have the burka then he must have his skirts..lol

And if he started to wear a kilt, what then?
what was he acutally going - this implies he was flashing kids in which case fair point but why not do him for flashing??
Can't see the problem here... unless he bent over and wasn't wearing anything underneath, otherwise, no more offensive than Mums who, when bending over prams, expose there massive white @rses encased (barely) in cheesewire thongs... not that I was looking of course...
it wasn't kids, it was adult neighbours, and it doesn't sound as if he was flashing

"It is the Crown's case that, very early in the morning, the defendant left his home wearing a skirt. Underneath that skirt was trousers or black leggings. He went towards the witnesses' van which was parked outside his address.

"He stood by the van with his back to it. He bent down and was appearing to be doing something with his laces. On this occasion he repeatedly bent down. This repeated action continued until Mr and Mrs Copping drove off."
Fluff...the timing would apply to that.
What The Funicular so he wasn;t flashign anyone then, weirdo's
How can a Court ban a man from wearing a skirt?

There's no way a woman can be banned from wearing trousers !!!
What fluff said...!!!
JJ, it seems the dress was ok; he was actually breaching the asbo by bending over.

Do British courts often ban people from bending over? De minimis non curat lex and all that.
I hope my laces never come undone..!!
An order to ban someone from bending over !!

And that's what the judicial system does with our hard-earned tax money, is it ??
