Toss caber etc is PERPENDICULAR

It is an angram

Sorry Her Majesty

I meant to mention that your clue should read 'toss caber upend it'  not upended.

cheers

Sorry again

I looked at it too casually and I am not sure now that perpendicular is correct.

Perhaps I should look at the whole crossword

Ta Mohill

I'm not 'on form' to-day.

Noticed-once I'd put my speck on- that I'd even made a hash of spelling the question.

Keep trying for me-

Ta

Perhaps I really lyy aLL

I can see holding length ie. 'l' 'up' in the 'air' with 'end' maybe but where do you get the E R P and C from? Perhaps I'm having a bad day, but I can't see an anagram anywhere!

P E R P E N D I C U L A R

Yes barender I messed it up by trying to do it too hastily.

My latest and last effort has produced UNPREDICTABLE which is an anagram of caber upend it and l (for length)

Thanks to all of you-

Will now put it away-May return to it later

I think the world has heard enough from me for to-day.

Have a good one.

Thanks mohill - you've saved my sanity!

Try 'Agony Aunt' instead of 'Dutch Aunt'

.....or try 'Dutch Uncle' (a harsh and candid critic)
