another Iss sighting at 9 26pm

Hopefully clear skies tonight for 4 minute sighting at 9 26 pm then again at 11 01pm 1 minute earlier than time given earlier must be a bit windier up there.Only a few more sightings then spacestation will change course. Good luck.

I just checked the maximum elevation.

So yes, I saw it ... for the first time !

(it's always been too cloudy when I've looked before).

Thx boxtops. Might try to see it again later on, armed with telescope and telephoto camera. Do not hold out much hope on the camera though, too fast, too dark and shaky hands ;)

Wendilla, while out having a ciggy I regularly see what look like small stars moving across the sky (nothing like as bright as the ISS) are they satellites too?

4get it'll be back in a minute, 11pm second time round tonight, get out there! There is a lot moving about up there Prudie, some are high planes but they tend to wink. There are in fact shedloads of satellites and stuff going round up there but I don't know whether you can see any of it.

Prudie I am no expert on what else you can see up there I just started 2 years ago studying the Spacestation. I would imagine they are really high up aeroplanes but there is lots and lots of sattelites up there and from what I read the very first ones are still putting back info.Go to NASA TV on the 14th and you will see Atlantis take off live for the Spacestation
