Can't send e-mail

I have AOL on this computer.I get the message that my e-mail addresses on AOL are not connected to the IMAP server and when I try to send e-mails I get this message "E-MAIL_MAILBOX_Disabled, 554 AOL" .
What to do? McAfee failed to scan; I got the message from McAfee 'because of an error'; so I uninstalled that and installed AVG. AVG's full scan did not show any virus, malware etc but the fault continues and I still can't send e-mails on AOL.
My hotmail account is unaffected and I can send and receive e-mails with it.

I suggest you contact AOL, the error message is clearly saying your mailbox is disabled which would be a problem only they can deal with.
