Thoughts of an ExPat

Who would have thought ( docspock excepted) that at 7.20 BST May 7th 2010 that Gordon Brown would still be Prime Minister of UK.
Remember the " huffing" and "puffing" of AB members about M.P'S expenses scandals, the long threads of News and CB contributors, castigating the "crooks"...........what has happened.......apart from a couple of notable exceptions and resignations, they "the crooks" have been re-elected.
Remember the outcry of myrth and condemnation from this side of the Atlantic over the Miami voting system in the Dole/Bush election.......it couldn't happen here. Well we have seen scenes of voters in major UK cities being locked out of the Polling booths unable to cast their votes.
Just some thoughts.

What a great result. Labour and LibDems will form a coalition and make a complete horlicks of reducing the national debt. However, they will completely alienate public sector workers with loads of strikes etc. Eventually the coalition will break and another general election will see a comprehensive victory for the Conservatives.
Remember where you heard it,
Remember where you heard it,
I don't like G Brown, I think he's a wolf in sheeps clothing!
I don't like the greasy David Cameron either....he has opted to to allow fox-hunting!
Nick Clegg was doing fine but as another said, people got the jitters and voted for the one they knew...
Dear Mo Mowlem would turn over in her resting place to know that Redcar has gone to the Tories, but all of those jobs gone with Corus and allegedly the Labour candidate now, not doing enough.
Brown can't and wont resign incase of a vaccum being left,
all in all, it's a BLOODY MESS!
