The consensus amongst the pundits is that a hung parliament is a bad thing.
Personally I don't think so, the people have spoken and this is what they wanted, it's up to the M.Ps to deliver FOR US.
So, with all the horse trading that's going to go on and although I doubt any of the three leaders will be reading this, I'd like to state that whoever gets to be Prime Minister HAS to have Vince Cable as Chancellor Of The Exchequer.

I think *this* hung parliament is bad because it's so hung that the natural allegiance of Lib/Lab is so neatly balanced

Last scene of the Italian job springs to mind

No point in being chancellor if you have to put in place somebody elses policies
Some of them ought to be hung
Now we will get what we voted for: runaway inflation, high interest rates, business suffering leading to enormous job losses!
actually, I think Darling has done okay with the hand he's been given to play. But Cable would be a lot more inspiring than Osborne, who seems to be a Tory weakest link.
The Biggest turn out for many elections has been because many of us thought it was now not just a choice between just the two main parties - that we could vote and make our vote count for real change.

It's now clear we have a flawed democracy. 1 - National vote bears no relation to number of seats. 2 - Thousands of potential voters don’t vote because they feel their vote wont count 3 - Thousands of voters votes count for nothing

A hung parliament is the best chance to change things in this country where democracy has just become a byword for you having a choice between tweedle dum and tweedle dee.

A hung parliament it will make the parties work together and broker deals on the policies that the various factions want to get implemented.

Its about time that the elected parliament in this country more closely represented the views of the voting public and moved out of the dark ages. The first past the post system has been gotten rid of in a large amount of the western world and we should also move to the more obviously fairer system of PR

Agree Vince Cable should be Chancellor
really maggot?

as opposed to massive public sector cuts leading to failure of businesses supplying them, the failure of businesses that were selling to public sector workers.

This is a time for delicate surgery - not a mad man with an axe and his head in the ground
Doesn't work that way olddutch, refer to 1974!
