Do any of you have silly nicknames for your pets?I call my cat purdily wumbler (when hes on my knee purring!)

I call my dogs  mrs pobble wobble and wuffity muppet.I know i`m bonkers!

I call my little dog (Charlie) 'Spuddy' because he's a couch potato.  My previous dog, a standard poodle was also known as 'Woolly'  for obvious reasons!

A guy at work called his cat Mazola. He said it was after he came home drunk one night, and his wife heard him fall over, and he told her he'd just fallen over the cooking fat!

We have silly names for our 4 cats
Molly is called polesworth
murphy is called german
Dylan is called squibbles
and Fergus is wigglet
at the moment.... but they will evolve slowly into different names altogether and the thing is whatever we call them they will answer to it.

Yep, two cats, Milo, otherwise known as Moomin or Fatty Boombaclart (she is old and spreading a bit!) and MInky, who is Minklescratch or Stinkle. Not as imaginative as some, but silly all the same!!

We were on about this the other day, and they all actually respond to their nicknames too, which is kind of worrying!

Fred: Moo, Moomintroll, Fluff (Frederick George Fluffymeowkins Paws if I'm cross)

Mummy: Mum's pet, Missus

Charlie: Charlie Bear, or just The Bear

George: Jeebers, or George Jeeberson

Bubble: Bubbs, Bubblebot

Squeak: Pink, Pinkers, Pinkerton Squeak, Squeakertron

NB: The Bubblebot and Squeakertron nicknames are thanks to the Transformers-loving other half

My cats are called Bruce and Elmo, sometimes when i can not be arsed to call them by there names i just call them pud puds, or after rolling them around on the floor fur balls. Or Bruce waddler (since after being castrated he has never walked right since bless him x)

Hi missmooncat, great question and I've loved reading the replies. I've got two cats (Pudding and Nutmeg) and a dog (Jake). Pudding gets called Puddy, Buddy, Bubsy, Bobby and Honey. Nutmeg gets called Nutties, Nuts, Sweetie and Weet-weet. Jake gets called Jakey (or Jakey-babe), Baby (cos he is my baby now the kids are older), Squeejums and flufti (cos he's so big and furry and he gives some fantastic cuddles).

My other cat Jack gets called Boy or THE Boy, doesnt really matter what I call them as they are typical cats and they dont take a bit of notice of me!

we called our cat cooking fat as she layed in a big pot we had, she had 2 kittens big puss and yikkle puss, both had kittens big puss and 1,2,3,4,and 5 and yikkle puss had 6,7,8,9, is this just pure laziness on our part or what??? couldnt think of any names. our dog is called "jason the fearless",the son of "the one who chases the cat" and we shout that at him when he is naughty we get some funny looks,

I've got 2 cats- Giles & Pepper -
Giles usually gets Daft Ar*e or Fuzz Ball & Pepper gets Chasflump (Chubby a** fat lump) or fat moo!
