Hey all!

Just a quick question as wonder what you guys would do or if you would send a card!

As you may know, I split with my ex end of February, but I was always very close to all his family.
I was known to his 2 year old nephew as Aunty Lucy and so on...
I havent spoken to his older sister since I split up with him, although she did send me a text on my birthday and she hasnt deleted me off FB!
Basically today she had her 2nd baby, and I was wondering if I should send them a card!?
I have missed all of my exes family alot, and did spend alot of time with them before, but dont want it to seem out of place or anything!?

TA! :-)

I think you should send. Do you still speak to her on FB?
if she thought to wish you a happy birthday then yes, send a card

I havent had a proper conversation with her no, but we were very good mates before I left my ex, and she had always said to me that no matter what happens we would be (although sadly that doesnt seem the case!).

Think I will send it, I sent her son who knows me as Aunty Lucy a card for his 2nd birthday, and that was only a week after I splut up with my ex, and she replied saying thank you very much and wishing me a happy birthday, so I guess she cant have that many bad feelings towards me!

Thanks for your replies people, and Bobbi, that is very true!

It is not like things are not good between me and my ex anyway, OK we are not best mates, but it was him who sent me a text with a picture this morning of the new arrival to let me know he had made an appearance!
well there you have it, card in the post..lol
it always intrigues me when a couple split, why sides of the family who previously liked one another, take it upon themselves to not speak, I have had that experience, so childish I think
go fror it wiggal
Yep you should
Definitely.I would.Bobbi is spot on.
