Smokers

Folks, just curious about smokers
Is anyone a full-time smoker, are there any social smokers, or ex-smokers, or are you all really healthy and vice free?
So who does what?

okay, they're not! I know.. I try to limit myself to about 6 a day, but sometimes it's a whole pack :o/

I started smoking when I was about 14, in 1962, when there wasn't any stigma attached to smoking in fact a non-smoker was usually in the minority in company and I smoked untill 1971 when after many attempts I finally managed to give up, it wasn't easy but I've never had a cigarette since. I can remember trying a cigar at a wedding in the 80s and it nearly made me sick.

Its funny when you watch old films - everyone seems to smoke. I watched The Birds on tv a couple of weeks ago (Alfred Hitchcock film) - everyone seem to light up, even the birds ha ha ha

i smoke and i do enjoy it.
i must say im scared to stop as i may put on weight...

Ok then. Another smoking related question. Would you give up if your OH nagged you too?

well we both smoke, so if we done it together and really wanted to for health reasons or so, i guess i would.
i stopped before, i used alan car's book to help me through. it worked...then i statred again 2 years later.

I smoke, and still enjoy it- sadly. Though it's only the money aspect of it that's making me want to give up...sorta.

Non-smoker, as coughed my guts up when young behind the bicycle sheds at school, never had another after that......
Mrs bear has always been a non smoker too.......house,clothes, kids, and us smell lovely, fresh minty breath every day of the week........happy days :0)

I did enjoy smoking very much. Truth be known, I gave it up because I didn't want to end up with a face like a cat's bum in a few years from now...

Non smoker....wine is my vice...a nice Italian Pinot Grigio although I'm quite partial to a sauvignon too :)
