Words And Phrases that Annoy You?

Words, awesome,thats american and i dont want the word used in the british language,and phrases"at the end of the day" does my head in!

Where to start?

1. I genuinely heard a kid last night (In the sports shop where I work - he knocked a NERF Vortex mega howler off a stand) say to his parents "I didn't did it"

Ex-squeeze me? Baking powder? :-O

2. The use of "Innit" at the end of a statement - "I'm 14, innit?"

3. (Again in the shop) The word "Mint!"

Basically, why do people state a fact and make the end of sentence sound like a question? Basically, it really annoys me, at the end of the day, know what I mean?

When people are too idle to pronounce th with words like free , wiv it, fanks etc.

I was, like, walking along.. and she turned round and goes,, "der", so I turned round and went "you what?" etc.

People who say ` I picked it up off of the floor` and the word Moreish makes me shudder.

Hey, i don't pronounce my th's that well, alhough thats an accent thing

Waggling the fingers in the air to mean "quote"

people who start their sentence with "no offence but..." you know something bad's going to be said and it'll most likely offend you anyway!

I have been known to let "mint" slip out now and again!

If someone asks if a task is possible and you tell them yes....they finish by saying "So when it's done we will all be happy bunnies".

Management speak "blah blah blah....and it's all swings and roundabouts".

Management speak "So are we counting apples instead of oranges"?"

i can't stand it when people (usually two-bit chefs on the telly) who say that all you do is 'literally'.............
and then carry on to list a load of things to do!

I work with a woman who starts almost every sentence with,
'I'm not being funny, but.....'

I want to scream 'but you ARE being bl00dy funny!'

Hate it when people start every sentence with "basically" and using "like" all the time - he was like, I was like etc. That`s come from the States and it`s so ingrained now it`s not going to go away

And you just know when someone starts a sentence with "no disrespect" that`s an insult`s coming. And "too much information" is so condescending
