We never talk
15 Answers
I met this guy on the internet. We had a very strong bond and yes we did go out foolishly but even after we 'split' we stayed close friends. I was stupid, i regret 'going out' with him, i was young. We never met each other in real life because I'm not that stupid - it's far too risky! However we has such a strong connection and spoke on msn instead. Then started going out with this girl and I suppose I just got jelous and tried to make friends with her for some reason, and I did, she is a really nice girl and I actually like her. But when they started going out he became a little bit distant from me but we would still speak. And then they split up and I was all happy happy and since then he's just never been the same. He doesn't come on for months on end, and I have no idea what has happened to him, he won't even give me his mobile so I cant text.. i even have his ex-girlfriends number! Anyway so he doesn't come on for months then suddenly he comes on again but when we talk the conversation is so awkward. We have known each other for 5 years now, and used to get along so well.
So he hadn't been on for months, and then he came on last night but I was just so fed up with him doing this to me that i didn't speak to him, he didn't speak to me which just showed me what an elbow he is. I was talking to his girlfriend at the time and she said he was saying to her that he still loves her but i don't know if thats true or not. I had such a bad urge to talk to him because I do love him and I miss the friendship we had but I just couldn't.
Should I speak to him about how he feels or dump it and just don't talk to him atall?
Sorry this is so long! I'm terrible at cutting long stories short!

Yes.. I am 15 and he is 17.
We both know that about each other anyway.
He told me his surname first, so that made me feel better. His pictures are all of the same person and I am 99% sure he is not some 40 year old pedo! But there is always that 1% so I would never ever tell him my address or meet up with him, it's far too risky and I don't want to be in that situation haha

Oh dear...I'm confused here.....you say that you 'went out' with him-yet you never met in 'real life' (THAT'S one relief!)...Hun-you can't have a 'relationship' with someone whom you have never actually physically met.
Also-at your ages-you are both growing mentally and emotionally. What may have seemed like a 'close' bond a few years ago will-by necessity-have changed. That is probably why the conversation was so awkward. I too say move on and find a real boy who you can have as a friend. This other boy will never be anything other than a nice memory now.

We had a huge argument last night. I told him upfront how I felt about how awkward things were getting and he was all like 'well what do you want me to do?' so i'm like 'nothing, but just you're not saying much so clearly don't care' and he went 'i don't know. you obviously do.' BLOODY HELL! he's such a bitch nowadays, he's changed so much and now it will just be even more awkward to talk to him again. I face the fact we're never going to be more than friends and I'm fine with it, but I'm not even sure if we're friends now. Should I speak to him or just leave it? He's certainly not going to make conversation with me. I miss him so much but i wish things were not so awakward anymore.. aaah what to do?!
