Outlook Express Forwarding Query
Ok. At the office, while someones away i had to set their Outlook Express to "forward" any mails to someone else.
Now, with Outlook it's possible to set a rule to have it forward directly .. i.e. with no "forward" crap. It arrives at its destination as if it had skipped out the middle man all together. The person gets the mail as if "from" the person that sent it. The recipient sees it as coming straight from the original sender, and has no idea that it's come *via* the person it was originally sent to) But theres still a copy of it in the middle mans inbox.
Now... what if two people, say, Person A and Person B, set up their Outlooks to bounce their mail respectively to the other one. So person A's mail bounces to person b. And person B's bounces to person A.
then, leaving both their "out of office" settings to "away" .... one sends a mail to the other...
What would happen? Would it keep bouncing back and forth until the inbox was full ? Or is there some magic code that stops this?
Does anyone know? Can someone test my theory? Have I spent too long thinking about it? (Hell yes!)
