sorry bobjugs - just got to revel in the fact that like southampton (my home team)....you're goin' down, mate. gone bust and lots of points deducted. satisfying. i'd just like to know how pompey got far more chances and time to sort out their mess, whereby soton were just dumped like a bag of rocks. seems unfair to me and it will be nice to know that after all the gloating you pompey lot aimed at us....you are going through exactly the same thing now. what goes around really does come around! p.s. football aside...do love you bobjugs - your posts are fantastic. lets not fall out over the beautiful game, eh? x

SK, I had so much respect for you until you announced you actually supported the Scum. I knew you came from S'oton but I didn't hold that against you as you can't choose where your born, but to actually choose to support them is insane.

bobjugs - never supported soton as they have always been crap. they scraped into the premier league year after year and then when they got their new stadium, they got relegated (har har!). imho, the owners and ceo's creamed loads of money from the club and then had to start flogging players to stay afloat which of course meant the club just got crapper (and an embarrassment to the city and footie in general). i wonder how things are going to pan out for pompey - you're certainly right in saying they are a better team than soton (not that hard, really!) but do wish you all the best for tomorrow as it's probably going to be downhill for pompey for a while after this. i just hope that the owners and administrators don't cock up the club like they did to soton. enjoy the match - even i will be watching as it is a match worth watching x

I went to school in Southfields and was also interested in the dons,(Were my No. 2 side until they moved) fond memories .... Yogi, did you go to the Crooked Billet in Wimbledon Village as well only I often saw the players there and in the one next door the name escapes me at present....

Although I will be a neutral armchair FA Cup viewer tomorrow it would be nice to see the underdog win (Portsmouth).
It will be the same next Saturday for the Champions League Final, Inter v Bayern
