my nan used to sing a song about lilacs

i wonder if anyone had a link or some info

the only words i remember

is
"she sat neath the lilacs and played her guitar"


then it goes on about a man who "sat down beside her and smoked his cigar " its really annoying me i really would love to know the words to the rest of the song...
