Do you have a 'catten'?
7 Answers
My female cat is over a year old, supposedly fully grown and sexually mature, yet she is tiny and playful. She still looks and behaves like a kitten. My son describes her as a 'catten'. Anyone else out there own a catten?

Have 3 cats, a b&w tom who eats what he catches, a calico girl who brings us presents, live and knitted, but doesn't eat them and a young harlequin pattern catten who hasn't a clue how to be a cat apart from being able to purr for England, slobber on our faces and sleep in boxes too small for her, she's lovely, (well, they all are).
Most cats stay playful for many years. Even when they are 'having a laze', just try pulling a piece of string along the floor in front of them and they spring into action! When you think of it, your cat is over a year old, but in human years (7 for every one of a cat) she's still only like a 7-9 yr old child. 2 years old, you have the 'teenager' (say no more). 3yr old - 21 and raring to go . . .
Love it "catten" ! My 7 year old female cat still looks and acts like a baby. Children always want to stop and pet her as they think she is a kitten -
And she still makes the kitten "prrrupp" sound when she greets us which apparently she should have grown out of before the age of 6 months....! Daft, adorable thing.
