Hi

Whenever I try and install new software I get the following error message...

Error 1327 Invalid Drive: G:\

I think this has happened since a colleague tried to install software from a USB drive.

The searches I've done on the net say it's something to do with the registery, but it's a big file to look through.

Hoping someone can help!

Try plugging a USB stick in and see if it comes up as drive G:.
I used to get a similar problem when it was searching for an A: drive. I found putting a floppy disk in sorted the problem.
Yep, this one is a registry edit to fix

(or you can cheat and just change your CD driver letter to G to get rid of the problem the dirty way)
